Associate - Talent Acquisition

A Dallas design is looking for an ambitious and customer-service driven Talent Acquisition Associate to join their growing team in their Dallas office.

As a Talent Acquisition Associate, you will support strategic staffing goals to attract, develop and retain a high-quality and diverse workforce across 5 CR office locations within the architecture and engineering industry. You will concentrate on finding passive talent, screening candidates for open positions, coordinating all aspects of the interview process, and serve as a strategic business partner to the CR leadership team.

A successful Talent Acquisition Associate should exceed candidate expectations throughout the entire interview proecss and create brand-worthy experiences that set our firm a part from the rest. You'll need to take a proactive yet flexible approach to your work to keep up in this fast-paced, rapidly growing and ever changing organization!

Your Role

  • Review candidate applications and conduct phone screens with qualified candidates for various roles across the organization and nationwide
  • Source/Recruit passive candidates to further drive talent pipeline through research, networking, creative internet sourcing, employee referrals and social media platforms
  • Utilize our Applicant Tracking System to manage the entire candidate workflow/interview process
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the full recruiting cycle
  • Work directly with the candidates, Talent Acquisition Director, and company leaders to coordinate and schedule phone, video, in-person and travel interviews in a timely and efficient manner
  • Create and manage job postings that appeal to top talent in the industry
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local networks and colleges and attend various recruitment events
  • Actively participate in weekly update and strategic staffing meetings
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience to each and every candidate we meet
  • Identify recruiting process improvements and participate in recruiting projects and initiatives as needed
  • Assist in planning office events

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of Talent Acquisition/Recruiting experience
  • BA/BS degree (preferred) or relevant work experience
  • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter to source passive candidates is highly desirable
  • Proven success in building partnerships with Hiring Managers and Senior Leaders
  • Passion for recruiting the highest quality candidates
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, influencing and interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Impeccable attention to detail and follow through
  • A strong sense of urgency and a high degree of initiative with an unparalleled work ethic
  • Strong customer service, time management and organizational skills with the ability to work proactively in a small team environment
