1. Frida (2002)
A real story about extraordinary women. This movie is not for everyone... The story is real and true, and Frida was a very extravagant woman with her own past.
One more rebel, who refused just to play the role of rich girl living a futile life of merely existence. This whiffs of Eleanor Roosevelt who challenged impossible goals. She's pursuing her dream, learning what she wants and nothing can stop her - even desert.
The story speaks about itself, the history as it is. Fighting, not giving up.
Women continue to be disenframchsed. Such women as Jessica Sloane choose to live on purpose refusing to have their history written for them.
Wome fighting for the very laws their laws gave them. A battle for liberty resonating even today. The current #MeToo movement is reminscent of these women who wanted more than that they were given.
Priceless, eternal, forever source of relaxation. This movie is blissful joy. I cannot even explain why, just it is.
